This 32 cent stamp was issued by the USPS in 1997 along with a red one featuring a U.S. Stagecoach. It was deisgned to commemorate San Francisco's Pacific 97 Stamp Expo. Both the mid-19th century clipper and the stagecoach are associated with mail delivery in California. Does anyone have the red stagecoach stamp?
I found a website with info about the stamp of the week. It shows pictures and gives good information about the town that it is in. It also gives info about the castle it self. the website is http://www.communitywalk.com/location/ivreas_castle/info/738476. I got the stamp from one of my dad's friends who wrote to one of his friends who wrote back and then he started collecting stamps.
